Pray with me (Morning prayer)

When we wake up, the first thing we should do is talk to our Heavenly Father. Thanking Him for a new day that He has made and that we have been able to wake up. Thank Him before you touch your phone. It doesn't have to be a long prayer, thanking our Father for a new day and for the gift of life is even enough.

At first, when I woke up in the morning, I would immediately check my phone—scrolling through social media and reading messages—before praying. It had become such a habit that I didn’t even realize I wasn’t starting my day by thanking God.

Later on, I often heard in sermons that the first thing you should do when you wake up is pray to your Heavenly Father before reaching for your phone. That message stayed with me and made a lot of sense. Since then, I’ve changed my routine: I now pray first before using my phone. Over time, this has become a natural habit and an important part of my daily life.

Our Heavenly father we thank you for the gift of eternal life. We thank you for a new day that you have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Your grace has done it again and we are grateful! We bless you this morning for the great things you have done and for your unconditional love. Father we pray that your presence will guide us and protect us everywhere we may find ourselves. May no evil come near to us. May your light shine upon us and blinds the wicked ones. May your signs and wonders follow us and may everything we want to achieve this week be accomplished in Jesus name we have prayed with thanksgiving amen.
