Pray with me (Morning prayer)

When we wake up, the first thing we should do is talk to our Heavenly Father. Thanking Him for a new day that He has made and that we have been able to wake up. Thank Him before you touch your phone. It doesn't have to be a long prayer, thanking our Father for a new day and for the gift of life is even enough.

In the beginning, when I woke up every morning, I would check social media/check messages before praying. I was used to that without realizing that the first thing I had to do was to thank God. Later I often heard in sermons that when you wake up, you should pray to your Heavenly Father before you touch your phone and go on social media. So this message stuck in my mind and it made sense to me. From then on, I always prayed before using my phone. It has now become my daily lifestyle and I'm used to it now!

ps: after you pray read your bible, at least one scripture before you do anything else.

Our Heavenly father we thank you for the gift of eternal life. We thank you for a new day that you have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Your grace has done it again and we are grateful! We bless you this morning for the great things you have done and for your unconditional love. Father we pray that you will keep us safe, protect us everywhere we may find ourselves. May no evil come near to us. May your light shine upon us and blinds our enemies. May your signs and wonders follow us and may everything we want to achieve this day/week be accomplished in Jesus name we’ve prayed with thanksgiving amen.
